Currently we can find two spectacular exhibitions, the first one being “Julio González, which will be on display until the 17th of October 2021. In this collection we can find works by the Catalan sculptor from the Musée national d’art moderne in Paris. This is the richest collection of sculptures and drawings by the artist, mostly from donations and bequests by his daughter, Roberta González, between 1953 and 1978. Throughout the tour of this collection we can see the different major stages of his career, including his classicist nudes, cut-out reliefs and his early wrought-iron sculptures.
The second collection we can find is “From Miró to Barceló. A Century of Spanish Art”. In this tour we can see the cubism, surrealism, figuration, abstraction, painting, sculpture, cinema and video of great artists such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Luis Buñuel. Through this experience you will be able to see how this great avant-garde spirit has been maintained. It goes fromrom works showing the Parisian exile and the war to works by Miquel Barceló, now grown up in freedom. Here you can find the timetables for our Guided Tours in Malaga.
