Information about Trip to Cordoba from Malaga

The departure point will be the Avenida de Andalucía in Malaga. From there the bus will head to Cordoba. Once in the Caliphate city, we will start our visit at the Roman Bridge, which has watched over the Guadalquivir River for centuries.

We will continue touring the medieval Jewish quarter, through narrow streets and typical Cordovan courtyards, until we reach the synagogue, a Mudejar-style building that stands out in the Jewish quarter.

Finally we will visit the symbol of the city of Cordoba and the most important construction of the Islamic West. This is the great Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba. Its vibrant mixture of architectural styles, its infinite columns, its colorful mosaics and its beautiful stained glass windows conquer all who visit it.

Afterwards, there will be free time for lunch and a stroll through the historic center, with time to visit and tour other emblematic points of the city. At the end of the Trip we will return to Malaga to the same point of departure.

All the tour, except for the final free time, will be accompanied by a multilingual guide who will explain the history of the different visits to be made and who will be happy to answer any questions. .

The Trip takes place every Thursday, departing at 8:25 a.m. and arriving in Malaga at 6:30 p.m. The bus trip will take about 2 hours, once in Cordoba we will first visit the Roman Bridge and the old Jewish quarter, and then we will go to the Mosque-Cathedral, where our guide will explain in detail this wonderful architectural complex. Finally we will take the bus back for another two hours to return to the meeting point. Reservations can be made until 12:00 (12pm) the day before.
