Meet the deep Granada and its impressive viewpoints

In this visit you will find the uniqueness of two of the most beautiful districts of Granada, where culture is evident. The Albaycin in front of the Alhambra is the oldest Arab quarter in Granada, although it was also the first to be inhabited by Iberians and Romans. We find evidence of the Islamic presence in unique spaces such as the Dar al-Horra Palace from the 15th century and the Arab baths El Bañuelo which served as public baths for the Muslim community and hopefully have been preserved. Its narrow streets and whitewashed houses lead us to visualize the richness of the landscape. We will highlight the Mirador de San Nicolas, where besides appreciating the best views of the Alhambra, we can complete our vision with Sierra Nevada, the city and the Vega of Granada.

We will continue in the direction of Sacromonte, a gypsy neighbourhood where the art of dancing, singing, clapping and rhythm is part of its history. We will highlight from our tour the caves that today have become places for flamenco and that still have the essence of what it was. These caves of limestone are located on a hill, so we will ascend until we reach the different viewpoints of the city of Granada, such as the Abbey, an enclave that must be visited in Granada because this is the place where the remains of the martyr San Cecilio were found, a figure of great importance in the history of Granada. In our 2-hour tour of these neighborhoods you will understand what the essence of Granada is, how they lived in a privileged environment.
