If you visit Granada you cannot miss one of the most emblematic and historic monuments of the city, its Cathedral. Built over an old mosque, the Catholic Kings decided to build what would be an imposing work that during its construction did not fail to surprise you with a series of complications that would prolong its inauguration until the beginning of the 18th century.

With this visit you will discover one of the most outstanding buildings of the Renaissance period, as it is the first Renaissance church in Spain due to its long process of construction. Although at first it began following the Gothic traces, soon the Renaissance influences arrived and they were followed although it was concluded that it was in full predominance of the Baroque. The importance of this cathedral you can discover it in the influences that of this construction was arising in other churches of the whole country. It is reason without a doubt the obligatory stop in this monument where we will find outstanding rooms like the Royal Chapel, where the remains of the Catholic Kings are buried and a long history that is worth discovering since it symbolizes the death of a whole era that saw the birth of a new time. Inside, a whole series of treasures from the history of Spain, classicist elements such as the columns and their capitals, the plateresque choir stalls and the Chapterhouse and the fifteen chapels that respond to the change in artistic trends.
