Discover one of the most outstanding wineries in Spain with our guided tour. Enter the Bodegas Osborne and taste the wines of Jerez.
The history of Bodegas Osborne dates back to the 18th century, when an English merchant arrived in Cadiz. Thomas Osborne Mann, who started doing business exporting wines in Puerto de Santa María, acquired some wineries and unified them under the name of Osborne. The Bodega de Mora has the largest collection of these wines dedicated to satisfy the most exquisite palates.
We will meet at the entrance of the winery located in Puerto de Santa María. There are two types of visit to choose from, both lasting an hour and a half.
In the first option, we have a tour of the wineries, where you can learn from the inside how we make our D.O. Jerez wines, our VORS (wines over 30 years old) and our Brandy de Jerez. We will also delve into the history of the famous Osborne Bull, all accompanied by a tasting of four sherry wines and some savoury snacks.
In the second option, as well as visiting the wine ageing cellar, we will finish our tour with a tasting of 4 glasses of sherry wines accompanied by 100% acorn-fed Cinco Jotas ham and loin.
The first option, which includes a guided tour with sherry wine tasting and snacks, costs €15 per person. The second option, which adds tapas to the wine tasting, costs €45 per person. Both tours last an hour and a half.
The activity will take place at 12:00h in Spanish and English.
