The best known and most frequented beach in Marbella by the LGTBI community, due to its atmosphere and landscape is Cabopino, a sandy beach, with no pebbles, clean water and plenty of free space to stand, ideal for small children to play and build castles. This beach has the gay-friendly mark, although the “environmental” part of the beach is the furthest away from the Cabopino pier, being known as Playa Altola, ideal for surfing. The beach has a nearby public car park, wooden car park, footbaths, showers and toilets, as well as sunbeds and beach bars.
Sun loungers and parasols can be hired and there are also toilets and showers. It is a golden sandy beach, of reasonable length, where you can also bring your pet if you want or need to.
