This beach has the gay-friendly mark, although the “environmental” part of the beach is the furthest away from the Cabopino pier, being known as Playa Altola, ideal for surfing. The beach has a nearby public car park, wooden car park, footbaths, showers and toilets, as well as sunbeds and beach bars.

Sun loungers and parasols can be hired and there are also toilets and showers. It is a golden sandy beach, of reasonable length, where you can also bring your pet if you want or need to.

On the same beach there is a natural area called Las Dunas de Artola, which has been declared a natural monument. Next to dunes and beautiful landscapes where you can walk.
