Enjoy Granada city

Granada, a city famous for the Alhambra, is situated between the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean Sea. A city of climatic contrasts, but also cultural contrasts, between Christians and Muslims. The route of our trip starts at the meeting point where an air-conditioned bus will take us to Granada to discover all the secrets it has to offer.

Information about Trip to Granada from Malaga

Once in Granada we will start with a visit to the Palacio de Carlos V, located on the hill of the Alhambra. Since 1958 it has been the home of the Museum of Fine Arts of Granada, and since 1994 it has also been the home of the Museum of the Alhambra.

After this visit we will visit the Alhambra, considered by many to be the eighth wonder of the world. The Alhambra was the residence of the Nasrid sultans during the 12th and 14th centuries and, apart from being a residence, it also served as a fortress, which is why it is located on the top of the Sabika hill. During this visit, we can also enjoy a stroll through the Generalife Gardens, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Our short trip ends in the centre of Granada, where you will have free time for lunch and a walk through the historic centre of the city. We recommend you visit the Royal Chapel and the Alcaicería, wonderful places. And with this, our trip comes to an end. Back to the bus, direction Malaga.

Our activity lasts about 10 hours, as it includes travel to and from Malaga, and all kinds of activities such as a visit to the imposing Palacio de Carlos V, the Generalife Gardens and, finally, the jewel in the crown, a visit to the Alhambra. In addition, you will have free time for lunch, strolling around the city, shopping for souvenirs...

All the tour, except for the final free time, will be accompanied by a multilingual guide who will explain the history of the different visits to be made and who will be happy to answer any questions. .

Timetable of the Trip to Granada from Malaga

Our tour starts at 8:00 am at the meeting point (Avenida de Andalucía, 10). We run this tour every week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We start very early in the morning to make the most of the day. Bearing in mind that the total duration of the tour is about 10 hours, we usually arrive in Malaga around 18:00. There may be some delays due to traffic or the itinerary, as we could make several stops to pick people up at different locations along the Costa del Sol.
