History of the street

The Alhambra is not the only thing you will remember about Granada because this city has one of the most significant streets of Andalusia and is the famous Calderería Nueva street where you can enjoy wonderful places where you can spend a pleasant time tasting and tasting perfect teas.

The Calderería has existed since the reconquest or even before. Inhabited since the 11th century when there was an extension of Alcazaba Qadima and a reform of the old Zirí fortress.

The Calle Calderería Nueva or also known as “the street of the tea shops” is a street in the historic center and adopted this second name because of the number of locals you can find dedicated to serving all kinds of teas.
