Cadiz’s best beaches: Sand and sun this summer

Cadiz’s happiness in the best beaches of Cádiz

Cadiz of the Pepa (the first Constitution back in 1812), of the Phoenicians, the rhythm of alegrías or chirigotas and of course…Cádiz of the beaches- one of the jewels of Andalusia.

With 269 kilometers of coastline and 138 kilometers of beaches including coves, inlets and sandy beaches of several kilometers, it is not surprising that the Cádiz coastline forms part of the well-known Costa de la Luz, a place where paradise becomes a reality.

Best beaches in Cádiz

Whether it’s surfing, kitesurfing or relaxing on a terrace drinking a good beer and the heat of the sun (or both at the same time) Cádiz’s beaches offer everything you need so you only have to worry about savoring every moment.

The choice has been difficult, but we believe that these are the best beaches for escaping:

Beach of Zahara de los Atunes, the number one

With an enviable natural environment, crystal clear waters and a unique sand band, it is no wonder that it is considered one of the ten best beaches in Spain.

Cortadura Beach, the urban magic

If there is one thing that characterizes it, is its urban beaches, where asphalt and its monuments are intermingled with sand: to be able to choose what the body needs to relax.

From the charming Caleta, with one of the best sunsets in Spain we would dare to say, to the Santa Maria or the Victoria. But if we have to choose, this undoubtedly is the beach of Cortadura, where the tranquility of paradise is possible between its fine sand and its sea with character.

Levante Beach, Puerto de Santa María-a natural park for you

And here comes another crown jewel: Did you know that you can bathe in a natural park? Levante Beach is located in the Bay of Cádiz: sky, sand and sea – and you’re in the middle. What more do you need?

Playa de la Costilla, Rota-pleasure for the palate

If there is one thing that characterizes this beach, it is its gastronomic offer, its sunsets in the fishing corrals and, of course, its magical colors.

Bologna Beach, Tarifa – history and relaxation

A little further away, you can not miss this show for the five senses: between the essence of paradise and Roman sites you will spend your days in Tarifa.

Palmar Beach, Vejer de la Frontera-chiringuito here and there

And here comes Cádiz of the chiringuitos (beach bars) par excellence. The city is synonymous with chiringuitos, like this beach, which are considered … of the best in Europe.

Valdevaqueros Beach, Tarifa- wild soul

Last but not least, this beach is the temple of surfing, wind and kitesurfing. With a wind and a wild environment, you will be able to make your adventurous fantasies come true. Let’s fly!
