There is more than one line connecting the airport, not only with Jerez or Cadiz, but also with other cities. The lines to Jerez are M-050, M-051, M-052, M-053, M-0561, M-970 and M-971, which take approximately 30 minutes. To get to Cadiz, you can take the M-050, the M-051, the M-052 or the M-053, which takes an hour and a quarter.
As for fares, these may vary depending on the area, but in general this is the cheapest option, especially if you are traveling alone.
In addition to these two destinations, there are buses that also connect the airport with El Puerto de Santa María, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Chipiona or the Costa Ballena area, in Rota.
The train is a good option to reach the main cities from Jerez airport. You can reach Cadiz in 75 minutes, and Jerez city in only 9 minutes. You can even get to Seville from Jerez airport in 1 hour.
The train is probably the fastest option. You can go with the line C-1 Cercanías (Cádiz-Jerez Airport) and the medium distance line Sevilla-Cádiz, which stops at the airport eight times a day.
If you choose the first option, keep in mind that fares vary depending on the areas to be crossed. The airport stop is in fare zone 5. From the airport, the train departs at 7:20 (at 8:20 on weekends and holidays), 13:25 and 19:20.
Cab is possibly one of the most comfortable options, however, this service is a bit more expensive. A cab from Jerez airport to the city center can cost about 25€ and takes about 15 minutes to get there.
If your final destination is Cadiz, the price increases, due to the distance. It will cost you about 65€. The travel time will be between 30 and 40 minutes.
Renting a car is always a great option, as you can also take advantage of the trip to visit other cities and some more distant beaches while you are in the province of Cadiz. Cars can be rented at the airport itself, there are several agencies and a multitude of prices.
To get from the airport to the center of Jerez you can take the A4, it takes only about 15 minutes, if there is not a lot of traffic. In addition, both the exit from the airport and the entrance to the city are well indicated and it is easy.
On the other hand, the trip to Cadiz is a little longer, about 30 minutes. You can also take the A 4 and the AP-4. The route is well indicated, although during the beach season there can be a lot of traffic.
