Without a doubt, the best place to visit at night in Ronda is the Puente Nuevo. If it is impressive during the day, you can’t imagine what it’s like at night. It is completely illuminated from top to bottom, giving you a unique moment for the views you will have in front of you. You can see it from the same places that are available during the day, since the accesses are not closed. On the other hand, during the summer months you can also visit the inside of some monuments, such as the Mondragón Palace and the Arab Baths (Baños Árabes), as they remain open until 10pm. The Mondragón Palace, also known as the Palace of Marqués de Villasierra, is one of the most significant monuments of Ronda. According to a legend, this palace was the residence of king Abbel Malik, son of the sultan of Morocco Abul Asan. Inside this palace you can find a collection of goods that tells the history of Ronda.

On the other hand, the Arab Baths were built between the 13th and 14th centuries, and are located in the old Jewish quarter. It is one of the best-preserved places of that time in the Iberian Peninsula, as they have always strived to completely preserve its structure since its discovery. Tickets for both monuments cost 3.5 euros, 2.75 euros for students and groups, and free for children under 14 and people with disabilities.

The perfect plan to end a day in Ronda or to start the night is a good dinner, but don’t settle for just any place. Ronda has some spectacular views and you can find some restaurants that will offer you those views of the Tajo that will leave you speechless.

In the restaurant of the Parador de Ronda you can enjoy the food prepared by the chef Miguel Ángel Díez Toscano. He offers you some typical dishes of the area, but with a preparation of ten. The location is ideal, as you can dine on the terrace while enjoying the views of the New Bridge illuminated at night. Besides, the restaurant could not be more elegant.

Another option to have dinner is the Abades Ronda Restaurant. With spectacular views of the Tajo river and the natural surroundings of Ronda, you can enjoy the dishes prepared by chef Paco Reche. Gourmet cuisine that fuses tradition with innovation using local products. It is a very elegant place, perfect to surprise your family, boyfriend, girlfriend or friends.

On the other hand, the Long Play pub is one of the liveliest in Ronda. If you are a fan of good music from the 70s, 80s and 90s, this is your place. They refrain from the current style of electro and reggaeton music, offering you the classics of your childhood or adolescence. If you’re more of a club person, don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten about you! Bambora is one of Ronda’s nightclubs and is considered the best. With a very lively atmosphere, you will be able to dance non-stop listening to current music. If you prefer a more “intimate” atmosphere with your friends, you can ask for a reservation and nobody will bother you. Besides, the audience is very heterogeneous, so, whatever your personality is, you will fit in perfectly. They have an extensive menu of drinks and shisha service.
