Cadiz, apart from being one of the most beautiful cities on the Costa de la Luz, has great architectural and monumental beauty. One of the great opportunities that the city offers us is to visit its best places through the tourist buses.
We can enjoy Cádiz from a double-decker open-top bus where we can see beautiful views.
There is only one line, the Red Line, from which we can see the west, north, and northeast of the city. The route is practically around the ocean, so we can see our wonderful city from the bus and stop at the most important stops, or the ones that interest us the most.
We have a Tourist Bus ticket with a duration of 24 hours in which we can get on and off the bus unlimited. We can create our own route, with audio guides in 16 languages. They also offer us a free brochure from which we can obtain coupons with offers and discounts for attractions, museums, and restaurants. In addition, to complement this activity you can use our city tours.
The stops we have on this bus are:
This is a street located next to the port, from here we can walk along with the port and see the Paseo de Canalejas.
At this stop, we will continue in the port, although this time to the north, and we will also be very close to the Monument to the Constitution of 1812.
From this stop we can visit the Casa Iberoamérica of the Town Hall of Cádiz, the Peña Cultural Folkorica y Recreativa la Perla de Cádiz, La Casa del Corista, the Puertas de Tierra Wall, La Tacita de Plata, the Monument to the Constitution of 1978, and the Puppet Museum.
As its name suggests, we can visit the Santa María del Mar Beach, the Roman Ruins, the Plaza Asdrúbal with the remains of the Roman Aqueduct, and stroll through two gardens, the Jardín de Varela Norte and the Jardín de Varela Sur, where we will find some ancient dolmens and necropolises.
The most interesting part of this stop is the Playa Victoria, and numerous restaurants close to the stop.
From this stop we can also visit the Playa Victoria, and also the Plaza Reina Sofia. If you are football fans, you won’t want to miss this stop! This is the closest point to the Ramón de Carranza Stadium.

The timetable of this bus is from 10:00 to 17:00, uninterrupted. Although it takes exactly 1 hour to get from stop one to stop twelve, you can get off at any stop and get on again, as each bus stop has a frequency of 30 minutes per bus.
