All Saints’ Day is one of the most important holidays in all of Spain. Millions of people travel on these days to make their last trips to the beach, to go to town or to visit a new place on that long list that you still have to complete. Seville is one of those places that lends itself to being visited at any time of the year. It’s at the beginning of November when the temperature invites all those who have cancelled their plans because of the heat that it usually is.

Going to Magic Island

Moving away from the capital, only 20 minutes by car is the town of Santiponce. Below this town is the Roman city of Italica, whose origin dates back to 206 BC.
It is surprising how well the Roman theatre and amphitheatre are maintained to this day. The space has been so well preserved that Roman recreations are highly recommended for all kinds of visitors. It is called Itálica Viva and there are recreations of both civil and military life.
Entrance is free until full capacity is reached, except for the activities in the Roman Theatre, which require prior reservation.
Going to the city cemetery
Perhaps this proposal will attract attention, it is not usually advisable to visit a cemetery, but on this occasion we are talking about a dramatised visit through the work of Don Juan Tenorio in the San Fernando Cemetery.

Visiting the Bellver Museum
To end this cultural offer, we recommend a visit to one of the city’s lesser-known museums. The reason for its lack of knowledge is that it has been closed for a long time due to a termite plague. It is currently open for the enjoyment of visitors.
It is located in Fabiola Street and its full name is Casa Fabiola-Donation of Marian Bellver Art. A total of 567 works donated by the collector Mariano Bellver make this building the reference point of Romanticism in the city.
The opening hours are from 11:00 to 20:00 and it is free for all the people who live in Seville. The price for others is 3 euros, with a 25% reduction for those over 65, teaching staff and students.
Among the most outstanding paintings are “El fullero” by Robert Kemm, “Camino de la feria” and “Paisaje con vacas” by Andrés Cortés Aguilar or “La Caída de Murillo” by José Marcelo Contreras.
